Greater Manchester Energy Group
Supporting development of the Energy Group
In February 2010, a new cross-sector Energy Group for Greater Manchester was officially launched, with a remit to inform investment and decision making in energy supply and infrastructure. To complement the launch, the Environment Commission released the 'Shaping Partnership Energy Priorities' report, produced by ARUP, which identified Sustainable Energy Action Planning as a priority for the city-region.
